School of Rock Masterclass
Lulu Lloyd, Broadway Dance Capitan, offers a School of Rock Masterclass where students learn original choreography from the hit musical. In this high energy 90-minute class, students will start by learning to sing a cut of “Stick it to the Man” and be accompanied by a Music Director. They will move beyond vocal technique and work specifically on the acting intention within the song’s structure and lyrics. Students will then learn the original Broadway choreography for the song and be able to put the two together. The class is then treated as a Broadway rehearsal wherein movement will be quickly changed, cut or added and students will learn to adapt the number “on its feet”. This class is offered to students 10 and up.
