Description:
Learn the basics of Musical Theatre Dance in this five part class. Day one focuses on our bodies and how to properly warm them up with stretching and isolations. The students will also learn a brief history of how Musical Theatre Dance started and has changed throughout the decades. The next two classes will focus on choreography from a popular Broadway show. Students will learn how to story tell through dance, move together as an ensemble and sustain their energy throughout the song. Our fourth week acts as a final rehearsal before the class presents the choreography for our friends and family on our fifth and final class.
